SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYABILITY: AN OPEN DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE!

The skills development and employability sector seeks to develop training that will allow more New Brunswick adults to pursue post-secondary education or integrate into the job market in non-specialized trades.

Our approach recognizes the skills acquired by adults and advocates a skill-based approach that aims to develop knowledge, but also know-how and soft skills so that students can efficiently carry out the tasks required in a given job.

QUICK ACCESS TO THE LABOUR MARKET

Depending on the needs of the labour market in a region, CCNB develops pre-employment training that provides access to employment opportunities for one or more employers seeking non-specialized employees in a particular area. These programs are typically target adults who have not completed Grade 12 and who want to be trained for a short period of time to enable them to find work quickly. Combining training to develop the basic skills and technical training related to a specific job, these programs are offered in collaboration with different partners.
